Biography

Dr. Haitham Abdul Hafez Moued is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist with extensive experience in the ophthalmic disease and surgical procedures such as phacoemulsification, oculoplastic, and refractive surgery – LASIK. He earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ukraine’s Vinnytsia National Medical University in 2004 and a Syrian Board of Ophthalmology certification in 2009. He later earned a Fellowship in Oculoplasty and Orbit from Syria’s Surgical Eye Specialist Hospital in 2011. In 2016, he was awarded the Arab League Council of Arab Health Ministers’ Arab Board Certificate in Ophthalmic Diseases and Surgery. Dr. Haitham is a Member of the International Council of Ophthalmology, London. Additionally, He is an active member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS). He is fluent in Arabic, English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
