Dr. Haitham Abdul Hafez Moued is an SRC-Accredited Master Surgeon and Board-Certified Ophthalmologist with extensive experience in ophthalmic diseases and surgical procedures, including phacoemulsification, oculoplastic surgery, and refractive surgery (LASIK). He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ukraine’s Vinnytsia National Medical University in 2004 and obtained the Syrian Board of Ophthalmology certification in 2009. He later completed a Fellowship in Oculoplasty and Orbit at Syria’s Surgical Eye Specialist Hospital in 2011. In 2016, he was awarded the Arab Board Certificate in Ophthalmic Diseases and Surgery by the Arab League Council of Arab Health Ministers. Dr. Haitham is a Member of the International Council of Ophthalmology, London, and an active member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS). As an SRC-Accredited Master Surgeon, he is recognised for meeting internationally recognised standards of surgical excellence and patient care. He is fluent in Arabic, English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
