Dr. Prashanth Narayan earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Kasturba Medical College, India, in 1997. He subsequently completed a Master’s in Otorhinolaryngology from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, India, in 2001. Dr. Prashanth’s clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of Otology procedures, including myringoplasties, grommet insertion, myringotomy, foreign body removal, surgical management of perichondritis, and incision and drainage of abscesses. He is also skilled in Rhinology procedures such as septoplasties, reduction of nasal bone fractures, foreign body removal, turbinate cauterization and reduction, diagnostic endoscopy, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, and control of anterior and posterior nasal bleeds. Dr. Prashanth has a special interest in Laryngology procedures as well, including adenotonsillectomies, flexible esophagoscopies, vocal nodule and polyp excision, and drainage of peritonsillar and parapharyngeal abscesses.
