Dr. Ibrahim Elwardany, MD, is a leading bariatric, laparoscopic and general surgeon with almost three decades of experience. Dr. Elwardany’s journey began in 1997 with his graduation from Ain Shams University, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, MB BCh. He furthered his expertise with a MSc in General Surgery in 2002, including and followed by a residency in Ain Shams Specialized Hospital. Dr. Ibrahim received his Doctorate degree in Surgery (MD) from Ain Shams University in 2010. Notably, Dr. Elwardany was among the first surgeons to research and implement the Extraperitoneal Endoscopic Inguinal hernia treatment, a testament to his pioneering spirit.
