Biography

Dr. Feras has over 14 years of experience in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2007. In 2010, he completed postgraduate studies in Public Health and Epidemiology (MPH) at the University of Wollongong, Australia. In 2011, Dr. Feras began his residency in Internal Medicine at Rashid Hospital, Dubai (DHA), and became board certified in Internal Medicine by the Arab Board of Health Specializations in 2017. In 2018, he joined the University Hospital Sharjah as a Senior Specialist in Internal Medicine and served as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the University of Sharjah Medical College for three years. In 2020, he worked at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Abu Dhabi, in partnership with the Mayo Clinic, as an Internal Medicine/Rheumatology Specialist Fellow. During this time, he completed his Rheumatology Fellowship, obtained the Specialty Certificate in Rheumatology (SCE) from the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom, and later earned the Emirati Board Certificate in Rheumatology (Tier 1) from the National Institute of Health Specialties (NIHS). Dr. Feras is actively involved in research in the fields of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is a member of the Emirates Medical Association (EMA), the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), and the Emirates Society of Rheumatology (ESR).
