Dr. Vinod Varghese Consultant Neurology

Biography

Dr. Vinod Varghese is a Consultant Neurology with over ten years of experience. He formerly worked as a Consultant Neurologist at Lourdes Hospital in Cochin, India, before joining Burjeel Royal Hospital. He has also served as a Consultant in General Medicine at the Medical College Trivandrum in India and as a Lecturer in Internal Medicine for undergraduate and postgraduate students. His experience in Neurology is extensive and includes stroke thrombolysis, botulinum toxin administration for movement abnormalities, needle EMG for neuromuscular difficulties, and epilepsy management (along with EEG reporting). His interest in Neurology has earned him the European Board of Neurology’s Fellowship. Dr. Vinod Varghese earned his MBBS in 2002 and a post-graduate degree in Internal Medicine in 2007 from the Medical College of Trivandrum, India. He then earned a DM in Neurology from a prestigious institution in Bangalore, NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences). He earned the coveted Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom’s SCE in Neurology. His areas of interest include,
