Dr. Mona Hasan Jasem Al Zaabi is a Consultant in Internal Medicine with board-certified subspecialty training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She brings nearly 19 years of extensive clinical experience and is widely recognized for her high-quality performance in the diagnosis and management of complex gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Dr. Al Zaabi’s clinical interests include women’s gastrointestinal health, functional bowel disorders, and inflammatory bowel diseases. She is well known for her precision in diagnosis, patient-centered approach, and strict adherence to international clinical guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of medical care. In recognition of her outstanding performance and excellence in medical quality indicators, Dr. Al Zaabi has received multiple Appreciation Awards from SEHA. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Al Zaabi has played a significant role in organizing and upgrading endoscopy unit systems, including the enhancement of endoscopy documentation software, contributing to improved efficiency and quality of care. She is also an active reviewer for the colorectal cancer screening standard program, supporting national efforts in cancer prevention and early detection. During her fellowship training, Dr. Al Zaabi demonstrated strong leadership skills and was appointed Chief Fellow for two consecutive years.
