The Menopause & Midlife Health Clinic is dedicated to the medical understanding, assessment, and long-term management of hormonal and health changes that occur during menopause and midlife.
Menopause is a natural physiological phase in a woman’s life — not a disease, and not something that can be skipped. Much like puberty, it is a transition. A woman is considered menopausal after 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period. The years leading up to this stage, known as perimenopause, often begin in the late 30s or 40s and are marked by hormonal fluctuations that can cause physical and emotional changes.
Our clinic provides structured, evidence-based care to help women navigate this transition safely and confidently.
Who We Care For
We offer integrated menopause and midlife care for women experiencing:
- Perimenopause
- Natural menopause
- Early or premature menopause (including menopause following cancer treatment or ovarian surgery)
- Post-menopause, including women several years beyond their last menstrual period

Common Concerns We Address
- Irregular, heavy, or infrequent periods
- Hot flashes and night sweats
- Sleep disturbances and fatigue
- Mood changes, anxiety, or low mood
- Brain fog and difficulty concentrating
- Vaginal dryness and reduced libido
- Bone and joint pain
- Reduced energy, motivation, and social engagement
Our Approach to Care
There is no one-size-fits-all treatment for menopause. Each woman receives an individualized care plan based on:
- Age and stage of menopause
- Symptoms and severity
- Medical and surgical history
- Cancer and cardiovascular risk
- Lifestyle and personal preferences
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
Hormone Replacement Therapy may be offered during perimenopause or after menopause following thorough risk assessment and counselling. HRT is a choice — not a mandate. It can be started or stopped based on patient preference and medical guidance.
While HRT is not a cure, it can be an effective tool to manage symptoms and improve quality of life when appropriately prescribed.
Long-Term Menopause Care
Menopause care is ongoing care. Regular follow-ups (every 3–6 months) are essential to:
- Monitor symptoms
- Adjust treatment plans
- Protect long-term bone, heart, and metabolic health
Our goal is not just symptom relief, but sustained wellbeing through midlife and beyond.
