Biography

Dr. Saurabh Potdar is an accomplished Cardiologist with profound experience in enhancing the cardiovascular health of his patients. He earned his medical degree (MBBS) from Government Medical College, Nagpur (2009), followed by MD from Government Medical College, Gujarat (2013). He went on to obtain his DM in Cardiology with a gold medal from NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, India (2017). In order to provide an advanced level of care and a broader range of treatment options to his patients, he simultaneously pursued his post-graduation in Cardiology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and MESF USA (2013). Prior to joining Burjeel Day Surgery Center, Dr. Potdar was associated with renowned hospitals in India and UAE gaining valuable experience in managing all kinds of cardiac diseases. His areas of expertise include coronary artery disease, preventive cardiology, 2D Echocardiography, transesophageal echo for adult and pediatric cases, ABPM, stress test & Holter monitoring, hypertensive heart disease, hyperlipidemia, and cholesterol management. He is well versed in diagnostic and therapeutic coronary interventions, and temporary and permanent pacemaker procedures. Dr. Potdar has several research papers and publications to his credit. In addition, he has been a keen academician having served as a faculty member in medical institutions in India. Moreover, he attends workshops to keep himself abreast with the latest developments in his field. Dr. Potdar is fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati.
