Dr. Helena Khidr is a Specialist Endodontist with a strong academic foundation and advanced clinical expertise in the field of Endodontics. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Sharjah, UAE, followed by a Professional Diploma in Endodontics from the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry in Dubai. In 2025, she completed her Master of Science in Endodontics at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), Dubai. During her specialist residency training, Dr. Helena acquired extensive clinical experience at Dubai Dental Hospital and several governmental healthcare facilities across Dubai, managing a diverse spectrum of complex endodontic cases and refining her expertise in contemporary evidence-based endodontic care. Committed to continuous professional development and clinical excellence, Dr. Helena has actively participated in leading international scientific forums, including the ESE Congress in Paris, where she presented her research investigating the impact of repetitive use and autoclave sterilisation on the cyclic fatigue resistance of heat-treated nickel-titanium (NiTi) endodontic instruments. In addition to her academic and research contributions, Dr. Helena has completed numerous advanced hands-on training programmes and workshops in endodontics, enabling her to remain at the forefront of emerging technologies, techniques, and best practices in the specialty. Her professional interests encompass complex root canal treatment, endodontic retreatment, and the integration of evidence-based innovations to enhance patient outcomes and clinical success.
