Dr. Mustafa Ghura is a Specialist General Surgeon with extensive experience in bariatric and laparoscopic surgery. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Damascus and a Master’s degree from Syria. Additionally, he earned Diplomas in Laparoscopic Surgery and Bariatric Surgery from IRCAD in Strasbourg, France. Recognized for his expertise, he was awarded the title of “Surgeon of Excellence” in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery in 2018, followed by the designation of “Master Surgeon” in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery in 2019. With over 12 years of experience in various hospitals across the UAE, Dr. Mustafa has successfully performed more than 3,000 bariatric and laparoscopic procedures, demonstrating exceptional skill in managing surgical complications. He is also proficient in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastric balloon insertion. Since 2013, he has been a distinguished member of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO). Additionally, he is a member of the European Institute of Telesurgery (EITS) and is fluent in both Arabic and English.
