Dr. Mutiullah Khan is a Cardiologist with 32 years of experience in treating Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, Heart failure, and Atrial fibrillation. Earned his MBBS degree in 1987 from Pakistan’s Liaquat University of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad. He is a Fellow of the Pakistan College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Mutiullah began his career as a primary health care provider in 1989 with the Khyber Pukhtoon Khwa provincial health department. He then became a Post-graduate Fellow in Cardiology at the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Government Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, Pakistan, in 1998. After completing his Cardiology Fellowship, he was named Consultant Cardiologist, Assistant Professor, and Head of the Cardiology Department at Saidu Medical College Swat in 2007. He was appointed Consultant Cardiologist and Faculty Member at Peshawar’s Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lady Reading Hospital, in 2008. He is interested in preventive cardiology, particularly reducing the risk of angina and heart attack by controlling risk factors for coronary artery disease. He has been actively involved in academic activities and taught and trained undergraduate and post-graduate medical students.
