Dr. Nashwa Awad is double board-certified in Neonatology. She has over 15 years of experience in the field. Dr. Nashwa earned her Bachelor of Medicine degree in 2000 and obtained her Master’s degree in Pediatrics in 2006. She underwent a Level III NICU training program in 2012 as part of her fellowship with the Egyptian Board of Neonatology, and later earned the Arab Board certification in Neonatology in 2016. Dr. Nashwa has worked as a neonatologist in Egypt, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, primarily in Level III NICUs. Since 2017, she has served as a neonatologist at Mafraq Hospital for two years and has been with SSMC-NICU for the past five years. She was also an Adjunct Clinical Senior Lecturer at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Khalifa University of Science and Technology, from 2022 to 2024.
