Biography

Dr. Veerabahu Muthusamy completed his Post-Graduate Degree at Kasturba Medical College, India, and obtained his DNB in Orthopedics from the National Board of Examination, India. Dr. Veerabahu Muthusamy has vast experience in the field of Orthopedics. He worked in various medical college hospitals in India before moving to the UK in 2003, where he started his subspecialty training in hip and knee surgery at King’s College Hospital and pursued advanced training in shoulder surgery at Queen Mary’s Hospital. He also completed his Membership in the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, before moving to the UAE in 2007. He was previously part of the Burjeel Hospital Orthopedic Department for eight years. Dr. Veerabahu Muthusamy specializes in trauma surgeries and arthroscopic knee procedures, like cruciate ligament reconstruction and meniscal repair. He is also trained in knee replacement surgeries.
