Dr. Rafia Rahim is a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist with over 27 years of expertise in diagnosing and treating a comprehensive spectrum of mental health disorders affecting adults. With a passion for delivering high-quality, culturally aware care, Dr. Rahim is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of her patients. An Arab Board Certified Psychiatrist and a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Dr. Rahim began her career in 1997 at Al Ain Hospital, a tertiary-level multispecialty teaching hospital under SEHA. During her time there, she worked within a dedicated psychiatry department that offered its own residency program. This experience allowed her to engage with outpatients and inpatients from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rahim has had the privilege of educating and mentoring psychiatry residents, medical undergraduates, and medical interns. This commitment to education has not only enriched her professional journey but also contributed to her fluency in spoken Arabic.
