Biography

Dr. Khaled completed his residency training in 2002 at Al Haram Hospital, one of Egypt’s largest trauma centers and research institutes. In 2013, he relocated to Saudi Arabia and worked there for six years as an Anesthesia Specialist at the National Guard Hospital in Riyadh, one of the most renowned tertiary care hospitals in the Middle East. Dr. Khaled relocated to the UAE and began his career as an Anesthesia Specialist in a multispecialty hospital in Al Ain. He later joined Burjeel Royal Hospital. Dr. Khaled holds a Master’s degree in Anesthesia and Intensive Care from Cairo University, a European Diploma in Anesthesia and Intensive Care, and a Fellowship in Anesthesia from the Irish Society of Anesthesiologists. His areas of expertise include,

  • Providing all kinds of anesthesia (planned or emergency)
  • Difficult airway management situations and very familiar with useful airway devices
  • All vascular access (Arterial – Central lines) with U/S guided techniques
  • Regional anesthesia techniques, including U/S, guided nerve blocks
