Biography

Dr. Eiman Alblooshi is a Consultant in Pediatric Infectious Diseases with expertise in managing complex infectious conditions in children. She obtained her MBBS from United Arab Emirates University, followed by specialization in pediatrics through the Arab Board of Pediatrics. She further completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. Dr. Alblooshi is licensed as a Consultant in Pediatric Infectious Diseases by the Department of Health Abu Dhabi and is also registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, reflecting her commitment to maintaining high international standards of care. In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Alblooshi is actively involved in academic medicine and global health initiatives. She serves as the Scientific Committee Chairperson of the Emirates Infectious Diseases Society and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at United Arab Emirates University, contributing to medical education and training. She is also a faculty member within the Training and Education Working Group at the PENTA Organization. Additionally, she is a core member of both the Online Portal Education Group and the Mentorship Program Taskforce at the World Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases, supporting global education, mentorship, and capacity-building initiatives in pediatric infectious diseases.
