Biography

Dr. Ali Ibrahem Hasan , Specialist General Surgery is the Deputy Medical Director of BDSC Al Shahama and also the Chief Surgeon for Burjeel Medical Centres (Al Shamkha, Al Zeina & MHPC). Dr. Ali holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Tishreen University, Syria, awarded in 1998. Subsequently, he achieved Specialization in General Surgery from the Ministry of Health, Syria in 2003. Moreover, in 2022, Dr. Ali completed his Masters in Healthcare Management from California Coast University, USA. With over two decades of extensive experience acquired from diverse healthcare institutions in Syria and the UAE, Dr. Ali brings a wealth of knowledge to Burjeel Day Surgery Centre, Al Shahama. He holds certification from several esteemed medical councils and has actively participated in international training sessions and conferences. Dr. Ali is a proud member of The American College of Surgeons (ACS), California Association of Healthcare Leaders (CAHL), and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). Dr. Ali’s areas of expertise encompass a broad spectrum of General Surgery, with a particular focus on advanced Laparoscopic Surgery for conditions such as Colon Cancer, Bariatric Surgery, Abdomen Hernia, and other Laparoscopic Emergency Surgeries. Additionally, he possesses specialized skills in Laser, AIM, THD, and Seton Proctology, as well as proficiency in Breast Surgery, Thyroid Surgery, and One Day Care Surgery procedures.
