Biography

Dr. Kanika Aggarwal is a Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon and Uveitis Specialist with a vast clinical experience. She completed her Surgical Fellowship (Vitreo-Retinal and Uvea) and Ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. She has been conferred the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK. Dr. Kanika has delivered a number of presentations at various international meetings, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). She has more than 75 indexed peer-reviewed publications and authored over six book chapters. She has participated in various international collaborative research projects and has won several prestigious awards, including the Carl Herbort Award and the Narsing Rao Award. She has actively participated in the annual meetings of the Emirates Society of Ophthalmology (ESO) as an instructor and speaker.
