Biography

Dr. Hussien Abdelrazik is an accomplished Cosmetic Dermatologist with over 20 years of experience. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Dermatology and Venereology in 2003 and a Diploma in General Surgery in 2008. He completed his Ph.D. in Andrology, Venereology, and STDs in 2016 from the Suez Canal University, Egypt, and obtained his Diploma in Hair Transplant from the American Association of Continuing Medical Education. Dr. Hussien served as a Faculty of Medicine at the Suez Canal University, Egypt, in 2000. He moved to the USA in 2006 to be a part of Cleveland Clinic’s research team until 2008. He relocated to UAE in 2010 and practiced as a Specialist Dermatologist at a prestigious skin clinic in Abu Dhabi before joining Burjeel Day Surgery Center. Dr. Hussein has a special interest in hair transplant procedures, particularly Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant technique, and is currently leading a highly specialized hair transplant team at Burjeel Day Surgery Center who have more than 10 years of experience in the field and has completed 12,000 successful hair transplant procedures. Dr. Hussein is an Associate Member of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). He is an expert in resurfacing procedures using ablative laser and non-ablative radiofrequency, chemical peeling, botox, fillers, mesotherapy, platelets-rich plasma, and thread lifting. He is well experienced in treating skin, hair, and nail diseases, performing minor skin surgeries and biopsies, and electro and cryo-cautery. He has actively contributed to the fields of Dermatology and Venereology with presentations and publications. He presented “A pilot study for the Treatment of persistent post-acne Erythema” at the 74th American Academy of Dermatology Meeting in Washington DC and “A pilot study for the Treatment of inflammatory acne” at the 2015 American Academy of Dermatology in New York. His areas of expertise include:
