Dr. Nahim is a highly trained Neonatologist with expertise in the management of premature, critically ill, and high-risk newborns. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based neonatal care while working closely with families to ensure the best possible outcomes for every infant. He completed his Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), followed by an MD in Pediatrics from Assam Medical College & Hospital (AMCH). He further pursued a DM in Neonatology at the Institute of Child Health, Chennai, one of India’s busiest tertiary referral neonatal intensive care centers, where he gained extensive experience in managing extremely preterm infants, neonatal emergencies, and complex medical and surgical neonatal conditions. After completing his super-specialty training, Dr. Nahim worked as a Consultant Neonatologist at Florem Hospital, Amritsar, where he played an active role in delivering advanced neonatal intensive care, establishing evidence-based clinical practices, and supporting multidisciplinary teamwork in the NICU. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Nahim has a strong academic interest and is passionate about teaching. He actively mentors junior doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals, with a focus on translating the latest evidence into everyday clinical practice. His professional interests include neonatal intensive care, neonatal ventilation, care of extremely low birth weight infants, neonatal nutrition, developmental follow-up, and quality improvement in newborn care.
