Dr. Subhodh Sivarama Shetty completed his M.B.B.S. in 2006 and MD in Paediatrics from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, India. He further advanced his specialization by earning a DM in Neonatology from Madurai Medical College, India, in 2020. Prior to joining Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi, Dr. Subhodh served at renowned medical institutions in India, gaining extensive exposure in both academic and clinical settings. He brings over 15 years of comprehensive experience in paediatrics and neonatology, encompassing both teaching and patient care. He has also contributed to several publications in international journals and holds lifetime memberships with esteemed professional bodies, including the National Neonatology Forum, the Indian Academy of Paediatrics, and the Indian Medical Association. Dr. Subhodh has a strong interest in teaching and clinical training. He has served as a faculty member for paediatrics and neonatology specialty programs in India and has been actively involved as a trainer in the Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program under the IAP-NNF “First Golden Minute” initiative. Additionally, he is trained in point-of-care ECHO and ultrasound in neonates and is certified by the NfEcho Academy of India.
