Biography

Dr. Tamer Hosny completed a Master’s Degree in Dermatology and Venereology from Cairo University in 1997 and acquired a Master’s in Dermatology and Venereology (MS) in 2007 from Cairo University. Dr. Tamer has worked in Egypt for 20 years, and during his medical career, he has worked as a Lecturer in Dermatology and joined the clinical activities of the university clinics. Dr. Tamer moved to Abu Dhabi in 2015 and worked as a specialist in a JCI-accredited private hospital based in Abu Dhabi and then joined Burjeel hospital in 2019. Dr. Tamer is very passionate about skin health and has expertise in all areas of aesthetic medicine. He is highly skilled and experienced at administering threads, Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and all aesthetics, including therapeutic laser procedures. He is also an expert in treating autoimmune and allergic diseases, psoriasis, and nail and hair disorders. He also focused his clinical engagement on treating skin pigmentation diseases, vitiligo, and eczema in children and adults. Dr. Tamer has researched different skin diseases like alopecia areata and different medications for treatment.
