Dr. Sumita Das has 17 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, specializing in vaginal surgery, high-risk obstetrics, and reproductive health. She earned her MBBS in 2000 and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO) in 2006 in India. In 2009, she pursued postgraduate (DNB) training, and in 2018, she completed a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) at the World Laparoscopy Hospital, New Delhi. Driven by a passion for advancing her expertise, Dr. Sumita earned a Master’s in Reproduction and Development (MSc) from the University of Bristol, UK. During her studies, she developed a keen interest in PCOS-related health issues, which became the focus of her dissertation. In 2023, she successfully passed MRCOG Part 1 and continues working towards full membership. In 2024, she received specialized training in Cosmetic Gynecology with the ReviGen machine. Additionally, she holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Dr. Sumita began her career as a Registrar for the Indian government, serving until 2013 before joining the Max Group of Hospitals in New Delhi. In 2019, she moved to Muscat, Oman, where she worked at Burjeel Medical Center and Hospital until 2023, before relocating to the United Arab Emirates.
