My experience with Dr. KP has been absolutely wonderful. I went in for a hardware removal on my foot and as a skilled surgeon the whole procedure was almost painless and with minimal downtime. What sets dr. KP apart tough is his human touch and being trauma-informed. He immediately understood what I needed to feel comfortable after a traumatizing experience at a different hospital and acted accordingly without hesitation. Dr. Zeina is a very knowledgeable anesthesiologist and took the time to consult with me before the surgery where we opted to proceed with a spinal anesthesia rather than a full one. She went beyond her duty and stayed by my side for 2h distracting me from the surgery and explaining what’s going on which was priceless in my situation. Nurse Yessa is the glue of the team and always making sure to be with you every step of the way for the tests and appointments needed before/after the surgery as well as on the big day itself. It’s quite reassuring to have a stable presence who also knows your file inside out and able to support as needed. If you’re looking for a place where you’re in the driving seat of your care and treated with compassion and empathy, rather than being a patient at the mercy of the doctors, this is it!
