Dr. Wissam Al Jundi is committed to delivering exceptional patient care through the latest advancements and high clinical standards. Born in the UAE, he excelled academically, achieving the 7th highest high school score in the country before graduating with distinction from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2004. After extensive surgical training in South Yorkshire, UK, Dr. Al Jundi pursued prestigious fellowships in minimally invasive vascular procedures at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and the University of Toronto Hospitals in Canada. Alongside his clinical expertise, he holds a Master of Science (MSc) from Cardiff University, a Master of Education (MEd) from Sheffield University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of East Anglia (UEA). A senior clinical lecturer and instructor at UEA, Dr. Al Jundi actively contributes to several educational programs. He has authored numerous publications and co-authored two best-selling postgraduate books in basic surgical training. His NHS practice in the UK involves managing a broad spectrum of vascular diseases, with special interests in complex endovascular aortic procedures, thoracic outlet syndrome, and endovenous treatments for varicose veins. In 2021, Dr. Al Jundi was appointed Deputy Medical Director of Veincentre Ltd, the largest private provider of venous services in the UK, where he leads training and development programs for vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists. He also provides consultation services at Burjeel Hospital as a visiting consultant. Beyond medicine, Dr. Al Jundi enjoys football, cycling, bodybuilding, and tennis, and treasures time spent traveling with his family.
