Biography

Dr. Ilavarasu Tamilmani is our Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon with ten years of clinical experience in orthopedic Surgery from India and UAE. He completed his Bachelor’s in Medicine and Surgery from Thanjavur medical college in South India. He pursued his postgraduate orthopedic training in two of the premier Institutes in India, Christian Medical College, Vellore, and Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Cochin, India. During his postgraduate training at CMC, Vellore, he was awarded the prestigious AJ Selvapandian Gold Medal in Orthopedic Surgery and has presented various research papers at National and regional orthopedic conferences. He furthered his expertise in arthroscopic management of sports injuries and arthroplasty of hip and knee at Lakeshore Hospital, India, and did a Fellowship in sports injuries and arthroplasty of hip and knee at San Matteo Polyclinic, Italy. He moved to UAE in 2014 and was working as a specialist Orthopedic surgeon in a JCI accredited Hospital in Abu Dhabi before moving to Burjeel Farha, Al Ain 2018. His areas of expertise include,
