Biography

Dr. Huda Kataa is a Consultant Gastroenterologist, with over 25 years of valuable experience in the field, gained from prestigious institutions. Her expertise encompasses functional bowel diseases (IBS, constipation), inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, cancer screening, upper and lower GI endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, and fatty liver disease, among others. Dr. Huda Kataa earned her MD Degree from Damascus University School of Medicine, Syria, in 1984. She held a Clinical Research Fellowship in Gastroenterology from Royal Sussex County Hospital, UK, and obtained her MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, UK, in 1993. Additionally, she holds a Professional Diploma in Healthcare Management from Notting Hill College, UK. Dr. Huda Kataa completed her FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, UK, in 2015, and holds an SCE in Gastroenterology from the Royal Colleges of Physicians and the British Society of Gastroenterology.
