Dr. Ibrahim Al Hosani is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with over 22 years of extensive experience in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He earned his Medical Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Damascus, Syria, in 2003. Dr. Ibrahim also received his German Board (Facharzt) in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in 2014, as well as a Diploma in Evolving Hepatitis C Management from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He previously held positions at one of the well-known hospitals in the UAE and further developed his expertise through post-graduate studies in Germany, where he received specialized training in spiral enteroscopy. Dr. Ibrahim specializes in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Celiac Disease, Liver Disease, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Gastroparesis, Motility Disorders, Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), Lactose Intolerance, Bile Acid Malabsorption, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), and H. pylori treatment. He has also actively participated in various medical conferences to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field of Gastroenterology.
