Dr. Sonia Malik is a UK board-certified Consultant Family Medicine physician and Medical Director at Burjeel By The Beach Clinic, Saadiyat Island. With over 19 years of clinical experience, including 14 years as a Consultant Physician, she has extensive expertise in acute illnesses, preventive healthcare, chronic disease management, women’s health, mental health, obesity management, and holistic patient care. Prior to relocating to the UAE, Dr Sonia worked across Manchester and Central London within the UK National Health Service (NHS). She held academic roles at the prestigious Imperial College Medical School in London highlighting her dedication to training the next generation of doctors. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and holds additional qualifications in Dermatology, Women’s Health and Obesity Management.
