Biography

Dr. Irene is an ENT specialist with experience in general ENT, emergency ENT, and ENT surgeries. Prior to her joining Burjeel Medical Centre, she worked as Specialist ENT in a JCI-accredited hospital in India and then in a Healthcare facility specializing in ENT in UAE. Dr. Irene completed her MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala in 2012 then she completed her Master’s Degree in Otolaryngology from Nitte University, Karnataka, in 2017. She has a highly meritorious academic background. Following her master’s, she has undergone observation programs with the world’s famous skull base surgeon – Dr. T.N. Janakiram, in Trichy, and with Dr.Jayakumar famous laryngologist and phonosurgeon. She has completed and passed the International Vestibular Diploma program. She has presented various papers at various conferences and won first prize for her paper presentation at the National ENT Conference in 2016. Dr, Irene likes to keep herself updated with the recent advances in her field. She has attended a copious amount of training courses to continue to gain knowledge in her chosen field.
