Biography

Dr. Nizar Farwati is an Orthopedic Surgeon who has been working in the field for more than thirty-five years of experience and has done a lot of surgery on the musculoskeletal system. He got his qualification as a medical doctor after his graduation from the medical school of Damascus University. After a short training in Jordan’s & Syria`s hospitals, he started his speciality in orthopedic in Germany, where he got the important stones to start his career in the orthopedic field and held the German board in orthopedic surgery (Fach Arzt fur Orthopedic). In a short time, he worked in Saudi Arabian hospitals as an Orthopedic Specialist Surgeon. He gained a lot of experience in the field of traumatic injuries and sports medicine. He was the head of the orthopedic department for 8 years. Later, he moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2000 to become a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon with consultant privilege at Madinat Zayed Hospital. There, he learned new skills and gained more experience in managing musculoskeletal and spinal disease, as well as improving his surgical skills. He previously worked at Gulf Diagnostic Center Hospital (GDCH) in Abu Dhabi in 2010.
