Dr. Khaled El Edlebi is a Specialist Pediatrician with over four decades of clinical experience spanning pediatrics, neonatology, pediatric neurophysiology and sports medicine. He began his career in Abu Dhabi in 1986, serving as Chief Pediatrician at Al Noor Hospital (now Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital) until 1990. His clinical expertise encompasses the management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions, neonatal care, child growth and development, nutrition, vaccination and preventive healthcare, with particular focus on psychomotor development assessment, newborn examination, and the diagnosis and management of asthma and allergies. Dr. El Edlebi has also developed a longstanding interest in Vitamin D and its importance in childhood health; he was the first to introduce Vitamin D supplementation in Abu Dhabi, doing so since 1988 with the permission of the Ministry of Health. His broader preventive approach incorporates healthy nutrition, physical activity and sports participation as important foundations for lifelong health. He holds a Diploma in Clinical Neurophysiology in Children and a Certificate of Special Studies in Biology and Sports Medicine, both from France. His academic contributions include publications on obstetric paralysis, perinatal asphyxia and phrenic nerve palsy in infants, alongside presentations at regional pediatric and perinatology conferences and public health education through radio programmes in Abu Dhabi.
