Dr. Dia Hussain Abu Shunar Specialist General Surgery

Biography

Dr. Dia Hussain Abu Shunar earned his MBBS from Damascus University in Syria in 2007 and his General Surgery specialty from the Arab Board of Health Specializations in 2017. He was appointed as a General Surgery Specialist Registrar in the Surgical Department at Al Nadeem Hospital in Jordan for one year. Additionally, he spent two years in Jordan as a General Surgery Specialist Registrar in the Surgical Department at Princess Raya Hospital. He completed a one-year Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Jordanian Royal Medical Services. He earned Advanced Trauma Life Support and Basic Life Support Certifications from the Romanian Society for Emergency and Disaster Medicine during his Residency in General Surgery (SMURD). His areas of expertise include once-surgery, vascular, and general surgery.
