Dr. Mervat Mahmoud Muad has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University Of Damascus, Syria in 1997. Subsequently, she obtained her Syrian Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2015 and was awarded the Specialty Certificate in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2001 and Arab Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2021. Dr. Mervat brings with her an impressive 20 years of experience acquired from her significant roles in various esteemed institutions in Syria and the United Arab Emirates before joining Burjeel Day Surgery Centre Al Dhafra. Dr. Mervat also holds membership from Syrian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and AAGL Elevating Gynecology Surgery Worldwide. Dr. Mervat’s clinical expertise include a wide range of performing surgical procedures like Caesarean Section, Dilation and Curettage, Ectopic Pregnancies, Pelvic Floor Repair Operations including Anterior Repair and Posterior Repair, Ovarian Cystectomy, Marsupialization of Bartholin’s Cyst and Myomectomy.
