Dr. Javariah Siddiqui is an Australian board-certified General Surgeon with advanced training in Colorectal Surgery. She holds dual degrees (MBBS, BMedSc) from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Surgery (Colorectal) from the University of Sydney – both consistently ranked among the world’s leading universities. She completed her specialist surgical training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital network in Sydney, one of Australia’s most reputable centers, before obtaining Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). Pursuing further subspecialty training, Dr. Siddiqui undertook a colorectal fellowship in the United Kingdom, endorsed by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MIPD Ed). There, she developed expertise in minimally invasive (keyhole) colorectal surgery, trans-anal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS), and robotic techniques. She also holds accreditation from the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) in both upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Siddiqui is actively engaged in surgical research, with peer-reviewed publications in international journals and presentations at major surgical conferences; reflecting her commitment to staying at the forefront of surgical care.
