Biography

Dr. Eman Mousa is a General Practitioner at Burjeel Day Surgery Center. She earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Tanta University in Egypt’s Faculty of Medicine. She has over seven years of experience, having worked in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. She completed her internship at Tanta University in general surgery, internal medicine, emergency medicine, Pediatrics, ophthalmology, dermatology, and obstetrics and gynecology. Additionally, she passed the Australian Medical Council’s part one AMC CAT MCQ examination and earned a certificate in Basic Life Support. She practiced general medicine in a primary health care facility, emergency department, in-patient ward, and outpatient setting. Her main areas of interest are management of emergency and chronic diseases, management of minor traumas, management of infectious diseases, assessment and management of acute conditions, integrated management of childhood illness as per WHO IMCI chart and guidelines, first aid – CPR for adult and child, intramuscular, dermal and subcutaneous injections, insertion of the nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal airway, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), bag-mask ventilation, school-age children care, intravenous access, family planning, home care visits, minor surgery, immunizations of adult and children, screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, providing counselling and health education.
