Dr. Chenal Shah is a highly experienced Specialist Anesthetist with over 25 years of expertise in anesthesia, pain management, critical care, and perioperative medicine. She has extensive experience managing complex anesthesia cases across bariatric, transplant, neuro, spine, cardiothoracic, plastic, urology, orthopedic, oncology, obstetric, and gynecological surgeries. She has successfully administered anesthesia for more than 5,000 bariatric surgeries, including adolescent cases, and over 500 renal transplants, including pediatric renal transplant procedures. Her expertise extends to regional anesthesia, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, fiberoptic intubation, labor analgesia, acute and chronic pain management, difficult airway management, trauma care, and intensive care ventilator management. Dr. Shah currently serves as a Specialist Anesthetist at Czech Rehabilitation Hospital, Al Ain. Prior to this, she worked for over a decade as a Senior Specialist Anesthetist and Team Leader at Medcare Hospital, Dubai, and previously served as a Consultant Anesthetist at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai, one of India’s leading tertiary care hospitals. Her clinical expertise includes remote anesthesia services in MRI, CT Scan, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, and Dental procedures, along with the perioperative management of critically ill patients.
