The Department of Psychology is dedicated to the scientific study of the mind and behavior. Psychologists assess, diagnose, and treat psychological problems, behavioral dysfunctions, and neurodevelopmental disorders, while also promoting healthy behavior and improving patients' quality of life.

The Psychology Department is committed to advancing the scientific study of the mind and behavior, with a focus on assessing, diagnosing, and treating various psychological problems and behavioral dysfunctions. Psychologists at BMC play a pivotal role in understanding mental processes, brain functions, and behavioral patterns, while also contributing to the promotion of healthy behavior, disease prevention, and the enhancement of patients’ quality of life.

Within the Psychology department, a wide range of assessments and interventions are conducted to address neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disability, Learning Disability, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Conduct Disorder, and other behavioral issues. Through comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based treatments, psychologists at BMC strive to support individuals and families affected by these conditions, facilitating improved functioning and well-being.

Furthermore, the Psychology department offers assessment and treatment services for mental health disorders, including Anxiety, Depression, Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Bipolar Disorder, and various personality disorders. Utilizing a holistic approach, psychologists at BMC employ therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address individual and familial concerns, promoting resilience and coping skills to navigate life’s challenges effectively.
