Cervical Length Scan

Assessing the length of the cervix during pregnancy is called cervical length screening. It is important because it can help assess the length of the cervix during pregnancy. A shorter cervix may indicate an increased risk of preterm birth, making this screening crucial for identifying high-risk pregnancies.

Wellbeing Scan

An important pregnancy scan, usually carried out at 7-10 weeks (about 2 and a half months) of pregnancy. This is the first scan performed during the pregnancy. Often called the dating scan, this scan is performed to assess the baby’s growth, movements, amniotic fluid, placenta and blood flows to the baby.

Nuchal Scan

A type of ultrasound scan that is performed between 11 to 13+6 weeks for primary assessment of risk of structural and chromosomal abnormalities. This is one of the most important scans in pregnancy and is recommended for all women.

Fetal Echocardiogram

Congenital Cardiac defects are the most common congenital abnormalities with prevalence of 8.2% per 1000 thousand live births and is leading cause of infant morbidity and mortality. Prenatal diagnosis of fetal heart defects can help prepare the neonate that will require specialized care and services thus improving the overall outcome.

Anomaly Scan

It takes a close look at your baby and your womb (uterus) at about 20 weeks of pregnancy. The anomaly scan is performed between 20-24 weeks of gestation. During the scan we examine each part of the fetal body, determine the position of the placenta, assess the amount of amniotic fluid, and measure fetal growth.
