Biography

Dr. Mandeep Singh, a renowned Maternal and Fetal Medicine Consultant with over 20 years of clinical experience, serves as the Director of the Kypros Nicolaides Fetal Medicine and Therapy Center and CEO of Burjeel Farha. Formerly the Medical Director for the Women’s & Children’s Division at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, Dr. Singh brings an exceptional track record in his field. He has held key roles, including Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Subspecialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine), Lead Consultant in Fetal Medicine and Research and Development, and Lead Obstetric Consultant for a Maternal and Neonatal Health Safety Collaborative. As Group Clinical Director, he successfully integrated three NHS foundation trusts into a single organization. Dr. Singh’s extensive academic contributions include numerous research papers, peer-reviewed articles, and book chapters. He has served as Principal Investigator for several landmark studies, such as the SPREE program for pre-eclampsia screening (2016-2018), the STATIN study on the use of pravastatin for preventing late pre-eclampsia (2018-2020), and the 2018 EVENTS study focused on preventing preterm birth in twin pregnancies. His appointment at Burjeel Farha further solidifies its network of specialized care providers. With expertise in managing complex obstetric cases, Dr. Singh is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes and enhancing patient experiences. His areas of special interest include the management of multiple pregnancies, preeclampsia, preterm delivery, and recurrent pregnancy loss.
