Biography

An experienced Consultant Endocrinologist with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, Dr. Tarek Yacout Saleh has an outstanding background of clinical excellence in all aspects of diabetes, endocrinology, and internal medicine. He is a well-traveled personality who has built a career across four continents. After graduating from the School of Medicine in Egypt, he secured a PhD thesis from France and received a Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in the UK. Later, he embarked on a training course with a fellowship in the USA and successfully attained the Board of Internal Medicine, followed by the Board of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. Prior to joining Burjeel Day Surgery Center, Dr. Yacout Saleh worked in senior positions at a number of leading facilities, including the Imperial College of London Diabetes Center (ICLDC), Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Bagadu Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, St. Joseph Health Science Center, St. Louis, USA, Washington University Medical Center, St. Louis, USA, Ain Shams University Hospital, Cairo, Egypt, Hertford County Hospital, UK, Royal Infirmary, Glasgow, UK and Edouard Herriot Hospital, Lyon, France. Dr. Tarek’s areas of expertise include,
