Biography

Dr. Eman Hassan is a Neurologist at Burjeel Medical Centre, Al Shamkha. She earned her medical degree from Cairo University in 2001 and completed her training at Kasr al-Aini Teaching Hospital, a 3000-bed tertiary teaching hospital in Cairo, Egypt. Later, she worked as a Consultant Neurologist and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Cairo University’s Faculty of Medicine, Kasr al-Aini Teaching Hospital, and the Egyptian National Heart Institute. She received training in neurorehabilitation and intrathecal baclofen pump administration at a tertiary hospital affiliated with Innsbruck University in Austria and epilepsy and electroencephalography at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. She has several peer-reviewed publications in international scientific journals on epilepsy, parkinsonism, and stroke medicine. She also worked in Kasr al-Aini Hospital’s specialized units for multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, and cerebrovascular stroke.
